BIOGRAPHY
At the age of fifteen, María Fernanda Yepes began modeling in her native country. She enrolled in Journalism, in addition to studying photography and going to Australia to learn English. While she continued modeling in national campaigns and even hogging covers, she studied theater in Barcelona. She soon entered the world of the small screen: she debuted in 2006 in the soap opera La Diva and became known for her co-starring role as Jessica ‘La Diabla’ in the Telemundo soap opera Sin senos no hay cielo in 2008. In 2010 she starred in the successful telenovela Rosario Scissors , whose success was such that it earned her the India Catalina Award for Best Leading Actress in a Series. In 2012, she starred in the Mexican series La Teniente produced by TV Azteca, which led her to be recognized as one of the most prominent actresses in Latin America due to her international projection. She is currently part of the main cast of the Netflix series Dark Desire .
