MJF & Adam Cole Earn AEW World Tag Titles Shot By Winning Blind Eliminator Tournament

July 2024 · 2 minute read

MJF and Adam Cole were forced to form an alliance in AEW as they were teamed up in AEW’s Blind Tag Team Tournament. Things saw quite an end for that tournament this week during Blood & Guts.

Boston fans crammed into the TD Garden for Blood & Guts. That match saw MJF and Adam Cole face Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia in a highly entertaining match.

After a dance-off where the lights went down, and both teams had a chance to dance to music, things really popped off. That dance-off was quite an unexpected show.

Adam Cole and MJF were able to rally after the heels almost won the match. Sadly, they missed their epic double clothesline, giving Guevara a chance to hit a standing double Spanish fly.

MJF and Adam Cole tried for that double clothesline again, but Daniel Garcia nailed them with a chopblock. MJF also hit an epic suicide dive on Guevara and Garcia after that.

Finally MJF was able to score the pinfall win, and this clinched the tournament for them. Now, on Saturday, July 29th, FTR will defend their AEW World Tag Team Titles on AEW Collision.

We will have to see how this pans out for MJF and Adam Cole. If anything, they had quite a tournament. For more on this story, and many more, please keep checking back with us here at Ringside News!
