Suits Cast Dinner Before Royal Wedding

August 2024 · 2 minute read

Meghan Markle's former Suits castmates have been having a royal ball in the U.K. this week in preparation for their co-star's wedding to Prince Harry. Patrick J. Adams and his wife, Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario, visited the oldest pub in England, while Gabriel Macht and his wife Jacinda Barret checked out Hyde Park.

The night before the big day, the whole cast got together at Barn restaurant in Sunningdale, England, to toast Markle. And Adams, who plays her on-screen love interest Mike, shared an adorable shot of it on Instagram. He captioned it: "The last supper #royalwedding."

Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman, who are in the photo, went on Today earlier in the day to talk about the wedding.

"We were with each other longer than we went to college or high school with our friends, so we became family in a way," Rafferty said. "We're still family, so this is a wonderful family affair."

It's been reported that the cast will attend the ceremony tomorrow at Windsor Castle and the luncheon hosted by Queen Elizabeth II, but that their invites didn't extend to the reception at Frogmore House, which will be a smaller affair.

The cast has kept mum about Markle and her royal fiancé, though they revealed on Today that they knew about the relationship before it was revealed to the public.

"We knew she was excited and there was reason to keep it close to the vest," Torres said.

In fact, Adams said in an interview with Esquire that he deleted his Instagram account after posting a photo with Markle early in her relationship with Prince Harry. “I posted this old photo I had found of Meghan and I on set,” he said. “I went to bed, and woke up in the morning and realized ‘Oh, yeah. I live in a world where you can’t post things about Meghan.’”

We're certainly glad he decided to start posting on Instagram again — just in time for the wedding.
