WWE Superstar Alerts Fans Of Fake Social Media Account

July 2024 · 1 minute read

WWE Superstars have fans who really care about them and want to be able to reach out on social media. Not all of those accounts are legit.

Sonya Deville recently ran across an account that was using a lot of her pictures, but none of them where uploaded by her. Thankfully, this bogus account had zero followers. She had to alert fans about this anyway.

Deville posted a screenshot to her Instagram story of this impostor’s work with text over it saying: “Fake account people.”

It’s a good thing that this account was spotted and uncovered. That won’t stop plenty more phony WWE Superstar accounts from opening on a regular basis.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
